Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Starting a half hour earlier than previous years, the 97th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature 31 floats and great marching bands in addition to Cher, musician Jon Batiste and singer Brandy.
When: 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 23 with an encore at 1 p.m.

The National Dog Show
A Thanksgiving tradition, the National Dog Show is hosted by former “Seinfeld” star John O’Hurley took place over the weekend but is broadcast on Turkey Day each year.

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
The classic Peanuts story of the time Peppermint Patty invited herself and friends over to Charlie Brown’s house for dinner even though he had other plans.
