On October 30, TikTok user The SUNsational Six (@sunsationalsix), a profile that is written from the perspective of the dogs, shared a video of storytime with their mom and it is happiness in a video! Take a look!
In a video that lasts over a minute, we’re introduced to four of the SUNsational six who are enjoying storytime with their mom.
Sitting in a bed, on top of the blankets, the four little pups are lined in a row with their back to the camera. They’re all wearing matching Halloween-themed pajamas and sitting in front of their human mom, who is also wearing pajamas with the same print.
She’s reading them a bedtime story, “The Night Before Halloween,” a Halloween spin-off of “The Night Before Christmas” story.
Some of the dogs sat up, and others chose to lie down, but all four were super into the story, and it kept their attention for the full story.
“We had a lovely time visiting Asheville and are definitely pooped pups,” the caption of the video shared.
“But we still wanted mama to read us a bedtime story while here at Elevation Lofts Hotel … This was the perfect place to stay!” the caption concluded.
In the comments, people were impressed with the attention span of each of the dogs.

“Their attention span is totally on point,” someone noticed.
“This is my dream life! Blessings to all,” admitted one viewer.
“Too cute, the one on the far right is like, ‘I don’t really want to hear this, but I’ll stay!'” someone else wrote.
“Me reading to my four children,” joked another viewer.
“It is the sweetest thing to watch these dogs just sit there and listen to her it’s so sweet,” another person shared.
According to The Dallas Morning News, reading to dogs can be a big benefit to them. “Is your dog lonely or bored? Does he yearn for travel, romance, and adventure? Is he telling you he needs more quality time with you this summer? Read him a book,” the publication shares.
Adding, “Reading brings wonder and adventure to humans. Dogs also love a good story, and they are great listeners. Your best friend might just turn into a real book hound.”
It looks like these four pups certainly love a good story!
